17/03/2020 – 19th March Parish Council Meeting – Coronavirus
Following a discussion with Neatishead Primary School concerning the recent Coronavirus crisis the parish council meeting that is due to be held in the school hall Thursday 19th March) will now be held at the New Victory Hall at 7.30pm.
The Parish Council are keen for the meeting to be as quick as possible with the main aim to discuss the Coronavirus and the impact for the parish. The Parish Council are following closely recommendations and politely request that if you are elderly or vulnerable that you consider whether attendance at the meeting is a necessity. 13/02/2020 – Planning Development in Hoveton
There has recently been a flyer drop in the village and some of you may have see the recent EDP, There is to be a public exhibition on Wednesday 4th March 2020 2-8pm at Hoveton Village Hall.
This is to see the proposed residential development of 150 Dwellings and 1ha of serviced land for age restricted care dependant dwellings for elderly persons. The land concerned is land east of Tunstead Road, Hoveton. Neatishead Parish Council have some concerns over this proposal and would very much like to hear from the residents of Neatishead. Please email the clerk your concerns who can convey them to councillors or alternatively there is an item on the agenda at the next parish council meeting to be held on the 20th February at the New Victory Hall at 7.30pm. Please do attend and let your councillors and district councillors your feelings.
22/08/19 – Norman Lamb MP’s Village Tour 27-29 August 2019
Sir Norman Lamb MP will be undertaking his village tour around North Norfolk again this year.
Although Norman will not be visiting Neatishead constituents from the village are still welcome to visit him at another of his locations.
The nearest location to visit Norman if you wish to have a chat is in Horning on Tuesday 27th August at the Village Hall Car Park at 10.40 am.
If you wish to know of other locations and times please contact the clerk who will be able advise.
There is currently a vacancy on the Parish Council. This is a good opportunity to be involved in the Parish, and being a Councillor, whilst a responsible position, can be very rewarding.
